Your Zemulator adapter plugs into where the EPROM normally is, and connects to a portable PC via serial cable. say you now do some tuning of the program via the laptop. i understand you can see these changes implemented real-time. but, when you unplug the serial cable from the PC, what does the ECU read from? is there some kind of flash memory in the zemulator, because otherwise youd have to go and put your old chip in when you are done tuning and then have a new chip programmed with the updated maps. in this case, your product is only completely useable if you have a carputer.
